Example: 1mbps unmetered or 150 GB Bandwidth In the example above – you have two options for your bandwidth allotment. The first one is 1mbps unmetered. This translates to your bandwidth being unlimited – however its speed is capped at 1mb per second. The alternative of 150GB metered – means that your bandwidth is tracked to a cap of 150GB – but you are able to utilize the full speed of the bandwidth pipe – most often...

Each Virtual Private Server has a guaranteed amount of RAM that can be used at any time no matter what. Yet there is always certain amount of RAM still available on the server and not used by any VPS. As long as those resources are available, you will be able to go over that limit of guaranteed RAM. privvmpages is your burstable limit and if you are going over the limit, it is time to upgrade your plan to next one or reduce your memory requirements by fixing the code that is trying to use more...

We can not say which of the control panels is better, nor which one will be better for you and your business. In most cases, this is a matter of a personal opinion. We use Cpanel for our shared hosting services. The Linux control panels available through us are Cpanel, Plesk, DirectAdmin and Interworx. We provide support for these as well for no extra charge. If you are already using a certain control panel, it is usually easiest approach to continue using the same control panel – unless you are not comfortable with it or need certain features that are only available in another control panel. There are free control panels available as well which you can try on your own. Some users choose not to use any control panel at all. Yes. We will transfer all of your sites free* of charge and will assure that you experience no or minimum downtime. In certain cases where requested by the client we will transfer your data from the previous provider to our servers. This will be done with our best efforts, however, we do not guarantee the transfer process. This courtesy service is done on an as requested and as available basis. Each provider may use different software, configurations, and/or other variables which complicate or in some cases prevent a smooth transfer. * We will provide free transfers when possible as long as the new environment and control panel are the same as the old host/server. We will advise you if your free move is not possible and what the rate will be if you wish us to proceed at that...

No, there is not a single second of downtime during the upgrade, nor there is any data loss. Whole upgrade of the VPS is a smooth process where the “only” noticeable difference is the significant increase of performance and other specs stated per the plan you are upgrading to (e.g. disk...

An answer to this question is rather hard to give since it mainly depends on the purpose of your VPS – will you be hosting only one site or hundred of sites, how much traffic will those sites receive, will you be using only one database or hundreds of databases, etc. If you are unsure which plan will suit your needs best (and you don’t plan to host high traffic sites), we recommend that you sign up for the smallest plan and if necessary, you can simply upgrade it whenever you want to. Note: if you plan to use cpanel, you will need at least 256MB RAM on your...
